Gates Tri-Power V-Belts are built for superior performance on heavy duty drives using the classical cross section.
The raw edged construction and special notch design makes the Tri-Power belt suited for drives requiring small diameter pulleys and backside idlers.
The EDPM Ethylene compound allows the belt to handle extreme temperatures up to 121ºC.
- Classic cross section compatability.
- Exclusive EPDM Ethylene rubber compound allows for increased temperatures and resists cracking.
- The fibre loaded compound enhances belt stability.
- The raw edged construction increases drive efficiency by up to 3% and capacity by up to 15% over wrapped belts.
- The molded notched pattern reduces noise and evenly distributes thermal and bending stresses.
- Precision ground sidewalls give a uniform wedging action.
- Flex-bonded polyester cords apply equal load distribution and reduced bending stresses.
- Non-self igniting - The belts will not catch fire from heat build up, even with severe belt slippage.
- Allows for the use of smaller diameter pulleys [150mm min]
- Allows for the use of backside idlers. [220mm min]
