Gates Tri-Power V-Belts are built for superior performance on heavy duty drives using the classical cross section.

The raw edged construction and special notch design makes the Tri-Power belt suited for drives requiring small diameter  pulleys and backside idlers.

The EDPM Ethylene compound allows the belt to handle extreme temperatures up to 121ºC.

 

  • Classic cross section compatability.
  • Exclusive EPDM Ethylene rubber compound allows for increased temperatures and resists cracking.
  • The fibre loaded compound enhances belt stability.
  • The raw edged construction increases drive efficiency by up to 3% and capacity by up to 15% over wrapped belts.
  • The molded notched pattern reduces noise and evenly distributes thermal and bending stresses.
  • Precision ground sidewalls give a uniform wedging action.
  • Flex-bonded polyester cords apply equal load distribution and reduced bending stresses.
  • Non-self igniting - The belts will not catch fire from heat build up, even with severe belt slippage.
  • Allows for the use of smaller diameter pulleys [150mm min]
  • Allows for the use of backside idlers. [220mm min]
  • Static conductivity:  ISO 1813  ab=nd RMA IP3-3
